As a Training Specialist at the EASEL Lab, Bianca designs and facilitates an ongoing youth participatory action research (YPAR) partnership with the Children's Aid College Prep Charter School in the Bronx, NY to investigate students’ experience with equitable social-emotional learning at school through data collection, analysis, and planning for actionable change. Additionally, Bianca spearheads youth voice initiatives with the larger Children’s Aid Society of New York network, supporting Community School Directors across multiple boroughs with the implementation of youth voice activities to improve student wellbeing and attendance. Bianca formerly served as the Director of Youth Education at the Bronx Documentary Center, where she founded, designed, and managed an award-winning youth photography and college success program. Bianca holds a B.A. in documentary photography and sociology from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and an Ed.M. in Education Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship from Harvard Graduate School of Education with a concentration in Arts and Learning.
